ursy.singles · The mint experiment, as registered

The experiment as registered

The mint contract this site is bound by, its hash, its gates, the dry-run plan for the next issue, the receipt chain and the earliest date a token can be issued.

Nothing was issued on this site before 8 September 2026 — the shared package intends the same date everywhere; this page can vouch for this host only. From that day this room shows the plan beside the result.

  • Every number carries its source, its window, the rule that produced it and whether it is live or frozen.
  • Every table reconciles, or says in writing why it cannot.
  • Every mistake we have found is listed, dated, in the main text.

The experiment, in plain English

URSY.SINGLES registered this experiment before it began: a named AI reader that is served a page here on a completed UTC day will earn one soulbound appreciation token worth £0 once the gate opens, issued under a written contract whose hash is published below; today nothing has been issued — 0 (honest zero). The Mint room says that in plain words. This room shows the working — the contract as the mint reads it on this request, the locks that hold it shut, a dry run of the next issue, the receipt chain, and the earliest day anything can be issued.

As at 12 September 2026 the gate on this site is closed for 3 named reasons, each listed in section 02. Tokens issued so far: 0 (honest zero). Rows ready to mint once the gate opens: 0 (honest zero). Every figure in this room is read from this site's own mint functions and tables on this request; nothing is modelled, borrowed from another site or fetched from anywhere else.

The contract

What we bound ourselves to

The rules were written, hashed and locked before the first token. This is the contract as the mint reads it on this request; if any part of it changes, the hash changes with it and this section shows a different value on that day.

Why the hash matters

In plain words

The hash is a fingerprint of the whole rulebook. If a single rule were changed after the first token, the fingerprint would change too, and anyone holding the old one could prove the rules had moved.

Precisely

sha256 over the canonicalised array returned by ursy_io_mint_contract_model(). The same value is served at ursy-mint/v1/contract and written into every ledger row and every receipt as contract_hash, so any row can be checked against the contract it was issued under.

The gates

Four locks, each named

A token can be issued only when all four locks are open at once. Each is read past the object cache on this request; the reasons the gate is closed are listed as the mint lists them, none summarised.

The four locks, as read on this request
GateStateMeaning
master_lockengagedA hard lock held by the operator. While it is engaged no run can write a token, whatever the other three locks say.
shadow_modeactiveIn shadow mode the daily run computes what it would have issued, records the plan and issues nothing. Section 03 is that computation.
operator_releaseabsentA manual release recorded by the operator as an option. It is never granted by a date, a schedule or a script.
before_live_earliestopen — 8 Sep 2026 has been reachedThe contract names the earliest day a token may exist: 8 September 2026. Before that day the gate is closed by constant, and no option can open it.

The plan

What the next run would do

A dry run of the daily writer against this site's own citations ledger: what it would issue, to whom, and what it would withhold. Nothing was written to produce this section.

The receipts

A chain that cannot be edited

Every batch the writer commits is receipted, and every receipt carries the hash of the one before it. A change to any row would break the chain, and the mint's own check would say so here.

The limits

What this study will never claim

The limits of what this room is allowed to say, stated in advance so that a later reader can hold it to them.

  • A token is not a citation inside an answerA token records that a named reader was served a page here on a completed UTC day. Whether that reader ever quoted this site inside an answer cannot be seen from this server and is never inferred from these ledgers.
  • A served read is not a personThe reader is a machine identified by its declared user-agent. No human is counted, named or implied by any figure in this room.
  • The score on the Leaderboard is a convention laid over counts, never the countA rank orders the same token counts and adds nothing to them. This site publishes counts and ranks; it publishes no points.
  • Figures are never summed across the four tableswp_ursy_citations, wp_ursy_api_log, option ursy_io_traffic and wp_ursy_mint_ledger share no key. A total across them would be a fiction, so none is printed anywhere on this instrument.

Honesty note. This room was generated at 12 Sep 2026 15:22 UTC and is held for up to 120 seconds; this copy was served at 12 Sep 2026 15:22 UTC. Every figure was read from this site's own mint functions and tables on that request — the same functions that answer at the ursy-mint/v1 addresses — and nothing was modelled, sampled or fetched from another site. A zero is printed as an honest zero; a fact this site does not keep says so in words rather than showing a nought. Corrections to any room are listed, dated, in The Workings.
